Mallory's Army

I'm so sad this sweet girl, Mallory Grossman, in my hometown, wearing the same cheering outfits that many of my friends did, going to the same school I did, had to suffer in this way. Bullying is unacceptable. I used to come home from school so sick after being picked on. I got terrible headaches and my parents taught me lots of coping skills - and Grandma Lucy used to do this special prayer (The Malocchio / The Evil Eyes) on me because "I was overlooked," which I only figured out as an adult meant that people didn't see ME for ME.

I hope schools and parents and communities continue to move towards more love, less hate. More joy, less fear. More inclusive, less exclusive.

WE ARE ALL THE SAME. LETS LOVE EACH OTHER!
